Vice President for Student Affairs
Bradley University invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice-President for Student Affairs. Candidates will be dynamic leaders, passionate about student success, with an extensive record of continuous commitment to student engagement, achievement, and excellence. A Master’s degree is required, and candidates with academic experience in teaching and scholarship may also be considered for faculty appointment.
Requirements: At least 7 years of progressively responsible and relevant management experience, knowledge and creative experience in advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion, extensive knowledge in the theory and best practices of student development and familiarity with both academic and non-academic support systems, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide variety of audiences inside and outside the university, significant record of effective and empowering management, with successful experience managing a large budget, strong understanding of laws that affect university and student issues--including but not limited to FERPA, Title IX, the Clery Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, proven ability to resolve conflicts in a composed and object manner, and the ability to build production relationships with local, national, and global partners.
