The Marketing and Technology Coordinator is responsible for planning, designing and updating the department's on-line calendar, website, ArgoPulse student organization site and all web-based projects. Coordinator is responsible for marketing the University Commons and Student Involvement (UCSI) facilities and services, to include Campus Activity Board programs, Homecoming, Leadership and Service, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and student organization events to ensure procedures are in compliance with UWF Marketing and Creative Services and University of West Florida standards. This position will design, develop, manage, and implement Internet/Intranet and mixed media based projects that promote UCSI mission and goals with special emphasis on social media implementation. This position will develop marketing strategies based on research and assessment outcomes. Coordinator will assist in applying policies and procedures, developing reports and other documents for the UCSI. This position is responsible for maintaining and updating digital display content and performing software and hardware updates as necessary. This position is responsible for maintaining computer hardware inventory in conjunction with divisional personnel and managing cyclical replacement of work stations and related peripherals. The Coordinator will develop and implement a student intern program and will supervise assigned undergraduate interns.
This position requires a Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. Prefer degree in marketing, web design or information technology field. Experience using computer systems related to online student services in a higher education setting is a plus. Candidate should have knowledge and experience managing web page designs utilizing current technologies and marketing methods. Strong analytical, organizational and customer service skills as well as being able to work on multiple projects at once is required.
