WSU invites you to join our Community of Learners as our Inclusion & Diversity Academic Advisor/Recruitment & Retention Specialist.

Duties of this position include: 1) providing academic, financial and career advising for underrepresented students; 2) recruiting underrepresented students; 3) assisting underrepresented students in navigating campus resources for retention and success; 4) coordinating the SILCC Mentoring Program; 5) monitoring and tracking underrepresented students in the Academic Progress Reporting System; 6) coordinating the Diversity Recruitment Day; 7) serving as Liaison to Diversity Student Clubs; 8) assisting with Summer Bridge Programs (HOPE Leadership Academy and Family Ties); 9) general budget management; 10) working collaboratively with WSU Admissions Office, WSU-Rochester and Southeast Technical College to serve underrepresented students; and 11) maintaining a significant presence on the WSU-Rochester campus.
