Educational Program Coordinator
Description: The Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR), Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), invites applications for an Educational Program Coordinator position. The CCTR is the home to a multidisciplinary clinical and translational research training program for clinician scientists including a Master’s and two PhD programs. The CCTR is supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA).
Responsibilities include: graduate program administration, student record maintenance, program assessment, and recruitment. Additionally, will coordinate and direct seminars, workshops, writing groups, and other special events.
Qualifications: Candidates must have an advanced degree or training and work experience that equates to an advanced degree. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in an academic or professional field. Required skills include two years of experience of writing curriculum and program administration for Health Science program preferred, experience in the development of assessment rubrics and utilization of WEAVE a plus, demonstrated strengths in oral and written communications as well as excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
