ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING

This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, management of the phonathon program, oversight and leadership of the Senior Class Gift Initiative, manage reunion fund raising for the 5th year, 10th year, and 15th year class cohorts, co-direct the Young Alumni Leadership Society, serve as the liaison with the Women’s History faculty group and manage a pool of FSL prospects.

Responsibilities will include recruiting, training, and evaluating of student workers responsible for raising $225,000 each year, directing the Cyber-Phonathon, developing strategies to increase and upgrade donors, work with a Major Gift colleague and an Alumni Relations colleague to secure reunion gifts, meet with reunion class agents to raise FSL money from classmates, recruit and manage the Senior Gift committee, serve as the Annual Fund prospect manager for a group of 25 alumni and make 50 personal visits during the fiscal year, meet with the faculty of Women’s History twice a year to share information from Advancement, co-direct the Young Alumni Leadership Council and recruit a minimum of 15 members each year and co-host four events.

Qualified candidates will possess a college degree with 1-3 years of experience in development, telemarketing in an educational setting or other telemarketing experience. Excellent written and verbal skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and organize. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge database a plus. Evening hours will be required.
