The Department of Natural Science is seeking a College Laboratory Technician (CLT) in Biology, to prepare chemicals and reagents for Biology laboratories, working with preserved specimens, preparation of microbiological cultures and media for the classes offered by the Department of Natural Sciences. The candidate will also be responsible for the chemical and supply inventory, purchasing of supplies and materials for the classes, basic maintenance of equipment and laboratories, and reinforcing laboratory skills taught by faculty. The CLT will be required to participate in Departmental and College-wide committees as well as support college initiatives.

High School Diploma with a minimum of four years' related experience. Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years’ experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years’ experience.

Experience in the preparation of chemicals and reagents for Biology laboratories preferred.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
