Library Services Analyst (Systems Reports Specialist)

The Florida Academic Library Services Cooperative (FALSC) invites applications for the full-time position of Library Services Analyst, position #123080. The working title for this position is Systems Reports Specialist and will be located in one of the offices of the Florida Virtual Campus at the Tallahassee or Gainesville office. The Florida Virtual Campus is a sub-division of the University of West Florida, Division of Research and Strategic Innovation. This position is responsible for supporting the reporting and statistical needs of the college and university libraries, including the reports available via the ILS, the testing of Data Warehouse tables, and individual ad hoc reports. Works collaboratively with other FLVC staff such as ILS librarians, DBA and programmers.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters' degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent degree from an ALA-accredited program. Five (5) years' experience using complex SQL queries for report creation; five (5) years' professional experience as a librarian with knowledge of the MARC21 standard. Strong customer service and communication skills also preferred.

Salary Range: $58,000 annually
