Tenure Track Faculty - English
Illinois Central College is seeking a qualified individual to provide innovative instruction in English composition; additional assignments may include courses in subfields of English per faculty qualifications.


NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in English or master’s degree in any discipline plus 18 graduate credit hours in English.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Experience teaching transfer-level English Composition, developmental reading and writing, co-requisite or accelerated courses, and/or teaching writing within the context of particular industries, disciplines, or academic fields is preferred. Ph.D. in relevant academic discipline also desirable.

START DATE
August 2018

SALARY AND RANK
The salary and rank for this position will be commensurate with the academic preparation and/or teaching experience of the successful candidate.

Illinois Central College, established in 1966, is a fully accredited comprehensive community college with a headcount enrollment of approximately 9,000 students. In addition to academic courses and curricula designed to meet the lower-division requirements of four-year colleges and universities, the College provides career-oriented programs as well as general education and community service courses.
