Stage Management-Theatre Program - Columbia University, School of the Arts
The Theatre Program seeks to fill the position of Associate Professor of Professional Practice (practice faculty), specializing in Stage Management to teach graduate level courses effective July 1, 2018.
The candidate will serve as the Concentration Director of the MFA Stage Management Program and teach courses at the graduate level. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to build a network of allied professionals in the New York City area for the benefit of students and graduates.
Candidates for Associate Professor of Professional Practice of the Arts must have a demonstrated capacity for creative work and exhibit the potential for continuing to make significant contributions to their areas of professional practice and accompanying pedagogy. 5 years graduate teaching experience required.

Masters Degree, or equivalent required.

Must have a vibrant professional practice in Stage Management and event production. Must also have more than 7 years’ experience in Stage Management and at least 5 years teaching Stage Management at the graduate level.

Salary commensurate with experience.
