Filmmaker-in-Residence
The School of Communication at American University, Washington, D.C., invites applications for a term faculty appointment for Academic Year 2018-2019. Rank will be dependent on experience and stature in the field. The appointment is a one semester term position and will commence on January 1, 2019.

Applicants should hold a graduate degree in the area of focus or in depth professional experience in the media arts field. The faculty position will address the short term needs of the graduate and undergraduate curriculum in film and video production, specifically with a focus on documentary, social impact filmmaking and social media related campaigns. All faculty are expected to hold office hours and participate in School and University activities and service.
