UC Santa Barbara's PaCE invites applications for an Academic Program Director (Continuing Educator II), effective July 1, 2019.

PaCE offers professional courses and certificate programs to UCSB students getting them ready for the competitive job market after graduation. PaCE's International Programs enable visiting scholars and professionals from all over the world to experience the outstanding research and instruction at our top-rated University.

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, designing, implementing and evaluating international and domestic continuing education programs. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development and program assessment, budgeting, and financial management, experience in outreach and organizational collaborations, personnel management, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have expertise in online learning technologies, knowledge of marketing, professional experience in both university and private sectors, experience in project management, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.

A Ph.D. in Education or a terminal degree (Ph.D., M.B.A., J.D.) in business, management, law, international business, international education or related fields is required and expected by the time of appointment.
