Instructor, Lab Coordinator
Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Department of Biological Sciences at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville invites applications for a Lab Instructor and Teaching Assistant Coordinator position. The department seeks applicants with broad training in biological sciences emphasizing human anatomy and physiology. Laboratory experience in these or related areas is highly desirable. The successful candidate will work closely with lead faculty to: organize and coordinate anatomy and physiology labs; administer lab quizzes and lab exams; teach weekly lead-off labs; supervise graduate teaching assistants in lab courses; set-up, maintain, and take-down weekly labs; order lab materials and specimens; and organize and coordinate lab space for the courses.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have an advanced degree in Biological Sciences or comparable discipline.

Terms of Appointment:
Full-time, non-tenure track 9-month renewable appointment beginning August, 2019 contingent upon funding.

Source of Funds:

Commensurate with credentials, qualifications, and experience.
