Knox College invites applications for the position of Director of Human Resources, responsible for directing the operations of the College related to its best resource, its people. The Director also will be responsible for leading strategic human resource planning to provide the College with the best people talent available and to position Knox as an employer of choice by bringing to Knox the best policies and practices in higher education.

-Management of union negotiations and labor relations
-Administration of retirement and employee benefit plans
-Participation in strategic planning
-Employee performance management program development
-Staff sourcing, recruitment and selection oversight
-Service as Title IX Deputy Coordinator and AA/EO officer for the College.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study required; minimum of three  years Human Resources experience in a Management role. Proficiency and demonstrated, progressive success in strategic planning, human resource leadership, people development, performance management, HRIS technical capability, analytic problem solving, presentation and communication skills. Proven success in strategic plan initiatives implementation and evaluation. Experience with Labor Relations and possession of SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.  Candidates with exceptional experience will be considered for an Associate Vice President level appointment.
