Lead an education and outreach organization working in the areas of environment and energy, agriculture and horticulture, food, nutrition and wellness, and youth and workforce development; support and implement the policies of the board of directors; supervise the work of 55 employees and up to 1000 volunteers; manage over 40 contracts for services and an annual budget of over $4,700,000; develop and maintain effective working relationships among staff, volunteers, Extension administration, Cornell faculty and local stakeholders; oversee strategic planning, program delivery, finance, information technology, communications and human resource functions of the organization.
To provide leadership in advancing the mission of the Association through:
1. Execution of Board policies
2. Support for programmatic innovation and excellence
3. Cultivation and stewardship of Association fiscal resources
4. Development of strategic alliances with community and government leaders
5. Consistent, proactive communication of CCEDC strengths and services to the constituencies we serve

Since 1913, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Dutchess County (CCEDC) has responded to the needs of local residents with unbiased, research-based information, tools and education that people have come to depend on and trust. Our programs are developed in direct response to community input, and are based on the most current information available from Cornell and other Land Grant universities from across the nation. The mission of Cooperative Extension is to put knowledge to work in pursuit of economic vitality, ecological sustainability and social well-being.
