Dir. Master's Prog Clinical Psychology
Saint Michael's College seeks to appoint a Director of the Clinical Master of Arts Program in Psychology beginning Fall 2021. The rank is open, depending on the applicant's qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning the curriculum of the graduate program, working with admissions and marketing to recruit new students, recruiting and overseeing graduate instructors, and advising students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Specific teaching assignments will include abnormal psychology, personality theories, and senior seminar at the undergraduate level, and courses at the graduate level in the candidate's area of expertise. Innovative approaches to teaching, including those employing technology, are welcomed. The candidate's research specialization in clinical psychology is open. Preference will be given to candidates who have an interest in mentoring undergraduate psychology majors. Requirements:

•An earned doctoral degree in clinical psychology
•Evidence of organizational leadership abilities
•Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence
•Promise of a successful research program in clinical psychology or a related area
•Promise of departmental and institutional citizenship, which will include student advising, and participation in department and college meetings/assignments
•Familiarity with the rules of the Board of Psychological Examiners and the laws that govern the licensing of psychologists in the State of Vermont
