CDEIO at UMass Memorial Health Care
UMass Memorial Health Care (UMMHC) is pleased to invite inquiries, nominations and applications for its inaugural role of Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO). The new CDEIO will serve as UMass Memorial Health Care's senior leader and report to Douglas Brown, President of UMass Memorial Community Hospitals and Chief Administrative Officer. The CDEIO will be responsible for providing transformative leadership, vision and direction for diversity, equity, and inclusion work. As a member of the core leadership team, the CDEIO will collaborate with executive, clinical and quality leadership in the coordination of efforts to develop a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategic plan in alignment with UMass Memorial Health Care's strategic plan.

A recognized leader in the practice and science of diversity content expertise, the CDEIO will facilitate crucial conversations with the goal of supporting a culture of inclusion and equity for all of UMass Memorial Health Care's key stakeholders. The CDEIO will utilize proven methodologies and innovative program development to drive culture transformation. The new leader will promote a data-driven, analytics-based approach to the work, including diversity dashboards to monitor the success of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
