Research Assistant
The Palliative Research Center, part of the University of Pittsburgh Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant. The Division of General Internal Medicine is the largest of 10 divisions within the Department of Medicine, and it is the most diverse in terms of activities related to patient care, teaching, research, and administration. The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting with several palliative care trials, including an ongoing R01 project conducted in cooperation with the Hillman cancer center network. Successful candidates will have outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, an interest in palliative care or health services research, and the desire to learn and take on new responsibilities as part of a dynamic research team. Candidates must be able to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, and keep track of multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with Pubmed, IRB procedures, Microsoft Office, REDCap or equivalent on-line survey administration tools, and ability to travel to local cancer center clinics is preferred.

Familiarity with clinical research required. Applicants that have an Associate degree with at least six years of relevant work experience can be considered.
