Tenure Track Faculty Position

Indiana University Fort Wayne School of Nursing (IUFWSON) seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track faculty position. The position offers an exciting opportunity for research and teaching in our academic programs. Service is also an expectation of this appointment. As an urban-serving institution commitment to diversity and community engagement is embodied within its mission and vision. At IU Fort Wayne, IU’s School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Dentistry, School of Social Work, School of Health and Human Sciences, and Department of Medical Imaging and Radiologic Sciences work together to create a unique health sciences environment based right here in one of the largest medical communities in the region.

Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master’s degree in nursing. Individuals with post-doctoral training in the areas of chronic illness, symptom management, or palliative and/or end of life care are preferred. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on evidence of scholarly, teaching and service achievements. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure.
