Internship Program Coordinator
The Internship Program Coordinator at Binghamton University in New York will provide primary oversight for undergraduate internships for academic credit offered by the Fleishman Center. The internship program coordinator will oversee all aspects of the program, including registration, instructor recruitment, course development, and site relationships. The program coordinator will oversee marketing efforts to enhance the reach of the internship program, including strategic outreach to campus offices and academic departments to grow the scope of credit-bearing internship opportunities. Working collaboratively with the Employer Engagement team, the coordinator will also monitor site quality and evaluation.

Core Responsibilities:
- Teach one section of the Professional Internship Program Course (CDCI 395) in the fall and spring semester
- Conduct all internship site vetting and communication with potential sites, existing sites; including outreach and site visits
- Support course registration, tracking of student progress, evaluations, assessment delivery, and course building
- Meet one on one with students searching for internships
- Enhance internship and student employment efforts campus-wide

Requirements:
- Master's Degree
- Demonstrated experience working cooperatively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Self-starting, creative professional with the ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships and adapt to change while handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Organizational and operational skills
- Evidence of commitment to college student success
- Must share core values of campus collaboration, high ethical standards and dedication to what is best for students, employers and Binghamton University

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree specifically in higher education, student affairs administration, or college student development
- Professional experience in a higher education setting
- Experience coordinating or managing internship programs
- Knowledge of a career management and higher education systems, such as Handshake and Banner
- Experience providing career coaching or counseling in a higher education setting
