Indiana University School of Nursing is pleased to announce the search for the Associate Dean for Research (ADR). The ADR oversees all new strategic initiatives, academic program development, fundraising activities, and serves as the liaison to external funding sources for research. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an atmosphere that builds faculty engagement and supports collaborative research and scholarship teams across the academic divisions of the university. The ADR supports and mentors the development of faculty scholarship and provides an ongoing analysis of the school’s grant portfolio, research agenda, scholarly activities, and external reputation.

The successful candidate must have a PhD in nursing or a related field with at least five years of academic experience at the rank of a tenured Associate or Full Professor. The candidate must have evidence of professional leadership and progressive leadership responsibilities and a demonstrated record of externally funded grants and peer reviewed publications in high impact journals. The candidate should also show demonstrated experience in growing a research program.
