Assistant Professor in Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst (see is seeking a tenure-track faculty member with expertise in any area of marketing, and a strong commitment to research, teaching, and community. While we are seeking talented applicants qualified for an assistant professor position, under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2022.

Candidates are required to have the following:

Ph.D. in marketing or related fields, (expected to be) earned by August 31, 2022.
Ideal candidates will have
1) An active research program with demonstrated interest in, and ability to, publish impactful research in top-ranked marketing journals;
2) Evidence of, or potential for, teaching excellence at both bachelor, and master’s levels, including face-to-face and online methods;
3) Interest in supervising PhD students
4) The potential to make positive contributions to the department, school, and University communities.
